Isaac and Beth's debut

An awesome thing happened this past weekend, Redding Transformation's 40 Days of Grace ended it's forty days of prayer with a festival in the downtown Redding Area. It had three different locations each with music, prayer tents, and various things like face painting, balloon making, and food.

We played on the Krista stage, which was great since we have a heart for kids who are in the Foster Care system or have been adopted - God knew just where to put us!

We had two debuts... First, our little 11 yr. old brother Isaac,
( tambourine/cowbell/keyboard player) made his debut in singing with Beth. Second, they sang their own rendition of "Hit The Road Jack." (check out the clip above on our new, "Video of the Week")
Yes, it is a secular song, however, we have prayed as a family and want to reach people through music - so we choose to play this song to illustrate what relationships are like without God in them. Kind of like a mini message...through song... we received a lot of positive feedback from this! We are excited and pray that God will use this part of our ministry as we cultivate it to reach more people! As the Apostle Paul says..."I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some" (1 Corinthians 9:22)

Isaac and Beth did a great job, and we keep saying that Isaac will soon be our new lead singer..ha ha!

Also, if you want to know more about Redding Transformation, and what an awesome ministry it is, then check out www.reddingtransformation.com

Question..." Should secular songs be used in Christian ministry?"

we all know that our lord works in mysterious ways....he also works all situations for good and we know if our heart is pure he will honor and bless our work. Drawing a crowd is a benifit for god because we are commanded to be fishers of men and where men gather is an opportunity for witness may god bless and keep you
love always

Yea, well... I think Christian bands should only play Christian songs. Well because you are telling people it is ok to listen to bad things...

Hey guys great job with the song. Isaac you sing really good! Keep up the good work! As for singing non-Christian songs... I think what ever works in telling people about God... do it!

Yeah, but God uses all different things
to reach people..God's love is not limited to be expressed only through christian music...he uses all art forms to do so..secular and non-secular alike...
You guys areawesome...may the Lord continue to work through you guys...you bless me.

Lots of questions about who is singing... Beth sings the first part "Hit the Road Jack" Isaac (IT) sings
2nd part "what you say?"

B.C Info

We began about 5 years ago when the three of us, (Liz, Beth and Sam) were between the ages of 11-13. We started the band in an effort to call public attention to an incurable genetic disease called Machado Joseph Disease that our Aunt Darla had. In spring of 2002, the three of us recorded our first "independent" album, Hope for MJD. Over the years as life has evolved, so has the band. In January of 2006, we hooked up with JCmuzk productions out of Chico Ca, and cut our 2nd album, G-D On High. Throughout the summer of 06, we had the opportunities of playing at different venues all over California with bands such as The Fold, My Second Chance, and Creswell, and at music festivals like Spirit West Coast, and Joshua Fest. In the Fall of 06, two other members were added to the trio, Blake Schack as a lead guitarist, and Isaac Bashor on keys, percussion, and other various instruments. As of now, we just recently finished recording our third CD, entitled, "The People's Psalm" We love playing music and seeing the amazing way God works in people's lives.
